Cross Egypt Challenge
We travel to the Rotary Club of Alexandria Cosmopolitan to meet Ahmad Elzoghby, the chief organiser for the annual Cross Egypt Challenge. In this ten day event, motorcyclists and scooter riders are taken on an unforgettable journey taking in the main sights, monuments and attractions of Egypt. Along the way the riders attend Rotary meetings in the Egyptian desert, they stay at 4-5 star hotels plus one night luxury camping. Riders come from around the world with a strong contingent from Australia. While the 2020 event has been cancelled due to Covid, it is hoped that the 2021 edition can proceed.
