Ian Stuart worked for many years in the meetings and events industry co-owning his own production and organising company, serving on the board of his industry association and developing the influential Ambassador Program for Business Events Sydney, a company part owned by the NSW Government and which bids for the right to host significant international conventions, meetings and incentive programs for Sydney and NSW.

When Ian joined Turramurra Rotary Club he was deeply impressed by the variety and scale of the many causes and needs being tackled by Rotarians locally and around the world. These range from international campaigns to end polio and malaria, to local initiatives to remove graffiti and shelter the homeless. Determined to give these issues greater exposure, at the invitation of Triple H 100.1 FM, Ian developed the weekly Rotary Matters program to bring these stories to life through in depth interviews with Rotarians or people who have been touched by Rotary’s generosity and spirit of service above self.
